Gold Medal Winning Ariel Alcohol-Free Wine
Before Ariel's first commercial production nearly 40 years ago, it was commonly assumed that de-alcoholized wines lacked the quality of traditional wines. That was until 1986 when their Ariel Blanc went up against wines with alcohol at the Los Angeles County Fair and actually won the gold. Since that day, they have garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards in competitions around the world. Becoming world-renown with wine critics for its taste and quality didn’t help change those skeptics' opinion of alcohol-free wine.
Ariel refined their winemaking techniques and introduced new products over the next few years, but it wasn’t until the early 1990s that the non-alcoholic wine market would emerge. They became the perfect alternative for anyone who wanted to incorporate red wine into their diet for the health benefits but didn’t care to drink alcohol every day. Most important of all, the technique for crafting non-alcoholic wine isn't that important unless the wine tastes good. And sensational it is!
