About Bonbuz
Fay Behbehani, the founder of Bonbuz, recognized she needed to improve her life after spending the majority of her teens in an alcoholic haze. In 2019, she attended a meditation retreat in Grass Valley, CA, which involved her delving into her work intentions for the upcoming year. One of the intentions at the top of her list was to quit drinking. At the time, the only alternatives to alcoholic drinks were sugar-laden mocktails or plain old soda water. Fast-forward a few years and that’s completely changed. Fay has created a new way for people to enjoy tasty alcoholic beverages without alcohol. She’s really looking to revolutionize drinking culture as a whole and how we socially ritualize since the way we’ve been doing things hasn’t been working out so well. As a result, many people are on the search for better-tasting, more inspiring drinks that won't affect their physical or mental health. Simply put, Bonbuz is a non-alcoholic spirit that makes you feel good. Where do you think she got the name from? It’s a combination of “bonne” and “buz,” which are French for “good,” and “high.”
