About Natural Blonde Bloody Mary Mix

Native to Charleston, John Aquino, the creative founder of Natural Blonde, has made quite the name for himself in the food and beverage industry. He’s won 5 Bacardi Mojito Challenges and even competed in the Cabana Cachaca world finals in Rio de Janeiro. He was even asked to compete alongside 14 others in the Bloody Mary Throw Down at the Official Bridge Run After Party of 2012. This was a deciding moment for the mixologist since he would debut the prototype for what would later become Natural Blonde Bloody Mary Mix. His inspiration came from a Yellow Tomato Gazpacho he had at Hank’s Seafood prepared by Executive Chef Frank McMahon. But it wasn't until he won the competition that he started getting requests for a recipe, which led to the mix being sold in local stores. He then had to experiment with various fresh yellow tomatoes in order to find the correct balance of water, acidity, and flavor. After two years of testing, he finally decided on locally sourced Valencia Gold and Carolina Gold Tomatoes. From the color to the flavor to the uniqueness of this combination, Chris and the entire Natural Blonde team couldn't be more excited to share this healthy non-alcoholic mix with everyone!
