Who doesn't love a margarita mocktail!? We know we do.

But finding a high-quality non-alcoholic alternative can be hard. That is why we are so grateful that Mockingbird Spirit has taken on tequila! That is why for May's Meet the Makers, we chose to highlight this exceptional brand.

Get to know Fern McCoy

Founder of Mockingbird Spirit, Fern McCoy developed this fantastic non alcoholic tequila during the Covid-19 lockdown. Rigorously tasting and testing various batches over a seven-month period, she achieved true greatness with the UK’s very first Tequila alternative.

Fern McCoy, Founder of Mockingbird Spirit, a company that produces an alcohol free tequila alternative.

In order to do this famed Mexican spirit justice, Fern stopped at nothing to create the perfect blend of ingredients to get it just right! Starting right from the source in Tequila, Mexico with 100% organic Blue Agave, Mockingbird Spirit is truly a first rate alternative spirit.

The Agave Tequilana Blue Weber (or Ol’ Blue for short) is a beautifully blended concoction of blue agave, citrus and a dash of habanero! Just a bit of sweetness, smokiness, and spiciness!

But, there's more!

Mockingbird Spirit is more than just a non alcoholic tequila, it's a functional beverage too! By adding the natural adaptogen, Ashwagandha, this spirit not only makes an amazing alternative cocktail but it also boosts your mood and you immune system! Healthy, nutritious, and delicious!

Fun Fact: The Mockingbird was chosen as their company logo because of its ability to mimic the call of other birds in the same way they wanted to mimic tequila. They also chose it to represent the same innocence that is represented in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. How sweet!

For Cinco de Mayo this year, you will find Sèchey rejoicing with tacos and Ol’ Blue Margaritas! Salud!
